My flat had no TV or Internet. It made for a lot of quiet alone time. I felt the freedom to process in my own way because I had nobody to talk to or feel awkward about trying to mask my pain from. I began buying every book at the bookstore that was written in English. I threw myself into stories of magic, travel, and healing. Slowly I started to feel life come back into my body. It was not such a distant being anymore.

Easter in Greece is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. It is amazing to me, the amount of tradition that is still followed here. Greeks have faith unlike anything I have ever seen. The night before Good Friday, the women of the four main churches in town stay up all night making flower arrangements to represent the bed of Christ. On Good Friday, everyone in the town visits each church to see the beautiful flowers.
